Yamamoto Jutaku Kensetsu's de facto representative was present as the client during a new residential construction project in Ogawa-cho, Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, on June 10, 2020. During painting work, the representative allowed workers at the subcontractor site to use scaffolding at a height of 3.2 meters without implementing fall protection measures, despite the risk of fall injuries and the ease of installing guardrails at open edges. As a result, a worker sustained serious injuries. The Nagasaki District Court sentenced the representative to a fine of 200,000 yen for violations of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, with the sentence finalized on December 10, 2021. This constitutes a violation of Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act and is subject to administrative supervision.
