株式会社星山建設工業は、 第1 同社の従業員が、同社の業務に関し、令和2年（2020年）10月21日、同社リサイクルセンターにおいて、労働者にダンプトラックを使用させ、運搬作業を行わせるに当たり、運転席から離れる際には、同車の原動機を止め、かつ、停止の状態を保持するためのブレーキを確実にかける等の車両系荷役運搬機械等の逸走を防止するための措置を講じさせなければならなかったにもかかわらず、これを講じさせず、もって機械等による危険を防止するための必要な措置を講じなかった 第2 同社の取締役が、同社の業務に関し、同年12月18日、解体工事現場において、労働者に撤去作業を行わせるに当たり、同作業場所は地上から5．9メートルの高さがあり、踏み抜きにより労働者に危険を及ぼすおそれがあったにもかかわらず、危険防止の措置を講じず、もって労働者が墜落するおそれのある場所に係る危険を防止するために必要な措置を講じなかった として、同社、同社取締役及び従業員に対し、熊本簡易裁判所から労働安全衛生法違反によりそれぞれ罰金刑の略式命令があり、令和3年（2021年）7月21日及び同月27日、その刑が確定した。
