令和８年５月７日、旅客船「令和聖」が井川湖本村の渡船場に係船中の船舶と接触する事故が発生した。同年５月11日、中部運輸局の運航労務監理官が海上運送法に基づく検査を実施したところ、安全管理規程に違反する事実を確認した。同年９月15日、中部運輸局は同者に対して、「運航管理者は、安全管理規程第18条に基づき、船舶の運航の管理及び輸送の安全に関する業務全般を統括し、安全管理規程の遵守を確実にして、その実施の確保を図ること。」を含む命令を行った。
