株式会社中田組は、令和３年７月１０日午後４時１５分頃、同社所有の汽船を同社社員を船長として、稚内市ノシャップ２丁目２８２０番地先海域において、船舶検査証書に記載された最大搭載人員５人を１人超えた６人を同船に搭載し運行した。 これにより、令和４年３月２８日、同法人は稚内簡易裁判所から船舶安全法違反として罰金１０万円に処され、罰金納付によりその刑が確定した。 このことは、建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当するものである。
