On February 21, 2025, 'Job Co., Ltd.' (business license number Osaka Prefecture Governor Permit (General-5) No. 110613), a construction company based in Higashiosaka City, Osaka, and its director, Tetsuya Isoyama, were found to have failed to provide safety equipment for workers performing mortar work on exterior walls at a height of over 1.8 meters on a bracket scaffold at a construction site in Osaka. This posed a fall hazard. As a result, both the company and the director were penalized with a fine of 200,000 yen each for violations of the Labour Safety and Health Law (Law No. 57 of 1972). The penalties were finalized on March 6, 2026. The case was reported by the Osaka Labour Bureau.

当該建設業者は、大阪市内において、新築工事を自ら行う注文者であり、同社の取締役は、同工事の現場監督として、同工事の設計及び施工管理の業務を行うとともに、同工事の請負人の労働者に使用させる建設物、設備等を管理する者であるが、令和７年２月21日、同人は同工事現場において、請負人の労働者に、高さ1.8メートル以上のブラケット足場１層目の上で外壁部分のモルタル作業を行わせるに当たり、墜落により労働者に危険を及ぼすおそれがあるのに、労働者が安全に昇降するための設備を設けなかった。 このことで、当該建設業者及び当該建設業者の取締役は、労働安全衛生法（昭和47年法律第57号）違反により、それぞれ罰金20万円の刑に処せられ、令和８年３月６日にその刑が確定した。
