LS Co., Ltd. had assigned, as the chief technical engineer, a company technical engineer who should be permanently stationed at the company’s sales office and exclusively engaged in that engineer’s duties, to a distant detached house demolition and removal construction project that LS Co., Ltd. carried out in September 2025. It was confirmed in the business year-end report accepted on September 16, 2026 that the technical engineer was in a state that was not considered to be exclusively assigned to the sales office. This constitutes a violation of Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the Construction Business Act; therefore, an instruction order was issued pursuant to Article 28, Paragraph 1 of the Construction Business Act. Instruction content (as stated): (1) Promptly ensure that officers and employees are thoroughly informed of the details of the violation and the disposition content, etc. (2) To ensure compliance with the Construction Business Act and related laws and regulations within the company, prepare a plan for training and education, continuously conduct the necessary training and education for officers and employees, and make efforts to establish a thorough internal system so that the violation will not be repeated. (3) For (1) and (2) above, report in writing what the company has done (if training sessions were held, attach photos showing the situation; if the company took measures other than those above, report them as well).
