The officers of Lotus Corporation (Legal registration number 5490002002858), located in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, were found to have committed a violation of the Road Traffic Act (Law No. 105 of 1960). The violation involved serving an 8-month prison sentence, which was completed on September 26, 2018. It was determined that less than five years had passed since the completion of this sentence at the time of the license revocation. As a result, the Kochi Prefecture authorities canceled the construction business permit (Permit No. Kochi Prefecture Governor (General-2) No. 10343) under Article 29, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Construction Business Act, on December 21, 2021. The permit covered general construction activities including civil engineering, scaffolding, stone work, steel structures, paving, dredging, painting, waterworks, and demolition.
