The individual conspired with a former advisor of Iwamura Corporation and a former officer of Ono Corporation, received guidance on the project's estimated price, and used fraudulent means to interfere with the fairness of a public bid, leading to his arrest on October 11, 2023, on suspicion of obstructing public contract proceedings. He was subsequently indicted on November 1, 2023, and on February 14, 2024, a sentence of one year in prison with a three-year suspended sentence was finalized. This conduct constitutes a violation of Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act. As a result, the company was ordered to suspend civil engineering operations related to public works for 120 days from April 11, 2024, to August 9, 2024. The suspension applies specifically to civil engineering business involving public construction projects, defined as contracts for comprehensive civil engineering work ordered by government, local authorities, or designated public corporations. The company's main office is located at 1493 Haguros, Tainai City, Niigata Prefecture. The legal basis for the suspension is the Construction Business Act, Article 28, Paragraph 3 (applying the provisions of Paragraph 1, Item 3).
