The former representative director of Kabushiki Kaisha Fukazawa-gumi, which changed its trade name to Kabushiki Kaisha Fukazawa on February 26, 2021, received confidential information regarding the planned bid prices for the 'Agricultural and Fishery Village Area Development Grant Agricultural Settlement Drainage Project (Enhanced Functionality) Dehydrator Building Construction' from a former city employee involved in the competitive bidding process conducted by Maebashi City on June 26, 2020. The individual instructed the company to bid at amounts close to the planned prices, leading to the company's successful bid, thereby impairing the fairness of the public bidding process through deception. Similarly, regarding the 'Shasakō (Narrow) Road Improvement Work (Doken No. 1)' project, conducted by Maebashi City on July 8, 2020, the same individual received confidential information about the planned bid price from the former city employee and instructed the company to bid near that price, resulting in the company's successful bid and impairing the fairness of the process through deception. As a result, the individual was sentenced to one year in prison (with a three-year probation) by Maebashi District Court on September 16, 2021, with the sentence finalized on October 1, 2021. These actions constitute violations of Article 28, Paragraph 1, Items 2 and 3 of the Construction Business Act, and a business suspension order is issued based on Paragraph 3 of the same article.
