(株)角翔 is a demolition contractor. On August 8, 2024, a worker was injured at the work site when a steel beam handled by a colleague's heavy machinery struck his right foot, causing a right ankle contusion and a right foot bruise, leading to more than four days of absence. The company was required to promptly submit a worker injury report to the Tomioka Labor Standards Inspection Office overseeing the site. However, the company submitted a worker injury report to the Koriyama Labor Standards Inspection Office with false details about the location and cause of the injury. The company did not submit a truthful report to the Tomioka office until August 30, 2024, thereby failing to comply with reporting obligations under the Industrial Safety and Health Act. Consequently, on July 12, 2025, the company and its managing director were each fined 200,000 yen for violations of the Act.
