令和6年10月30日、宗像市が運航する旅客船「しおかぜ」において、神湊港にて着岸作業中、陸上作業員が負傷する事故が発生した。 同年12月4日、九州運輸局の運航労務監理官が海上運送法に基づく監査を実施したところ、作業基準の未遵守等、安全管理規程に違反する事実を確認した。 令和7年3月10日、九州運輸局は同者に対し、「船長は、安全管理規程第35条及び作業基準第14条に基づき、作業基準に定めるところにより、乗下船作業を実施すること。」を含む警告を行った。
