令和６年11月22日、栃木県河内郡上三川町内の工事現場において、高さ約10メートルの上階から落下した鉄パイプが従事者の背中に当たり、休業見込み６か月を要する左腰椎横突起骨折等の負傷をし、翌日から４日以上休業した。 しかし、令和７年４月22日、株式会社サヤデンの代表取締役はこれについて、川越労働基準監督署長に対し、「サヤデン工場内（埼玉県川越市）で工事の段取り中、中２階の作業者が鉄パイプを落とし、下にいた作業者（受傷者）の背中部分に当たった」旨、虚偽の労働者死傷病報告を提出した。 これにより、株式会社サヤデン及び同社代表取締役は、労働安全衛生法第100条第1項、第120条第５号及び第122条により川越簡易裁判所から各々罰金20万円の判決を受け、令和８年１月30日に当該判決が確定した。 このことは、建設業法第28条第１項第３号に該当する。
