株式会社感動ハウスは、令和２年３月10日、西村山郡河北町谷地地内にある個人住宅増築工事において、労働者に対し墜落防止措置を講じなかった。これにより労働者が地上から約６メートルの屋上から墜落して死亡する事故を発生させた。 このことが労働安全衛生法に違反するとして、法人及び同社の職員（現場監督）が令和３年３月31日、山形簡易裁判所からそれぞれ罰金20万円の略式命令を受け、これが確定している。 このことは、建設業法第28条第１項第３号に該当する。
