On May 26, 2023, Akuzawa Construction Co., Ltd. conducted formwork fixing work for a guardrail foundation within its premises. Despite the work location being more than 5 meters above ground and posing a fall risk, the company did not install guardrails or other safety measures, and allowed employees to work. As a result, a construction accident occurred in which an employee fell and died. The company and its representative director were prosecuted on August 21, 2023, for violating Article 21, Paragraph 2 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act (Violation of the Obligation to Prevent Hazards, under Article 519, Item 1 of the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations). They were each fined 200,000 yen by the Maebashi Summary Court on January 25, 2024.

株式会社阿久澤建設は、令和５年５月２６日に、同社敷地内において、ガードレール基礎の型枠固定作業を行っていたところ、同作業場所が地上から５メートル以上の場所で墜落のおそれがあるにもかかわらず、手すり等を設けることなく従業員に作業を行わせたところ、墜落して死亡した工事事故を発生させた。 このことにより、同社及び同社代表取締役は、労働安全衛生法第２１条第２項（労働安全衛生規則第５１９条第１号）違反（危険防止措置義務違反）により令和５年８月２１日に書類送検され、令和６年１月２５日に前橋簡易裁判所からそれぞれ２０万円の罰金刑に処された。
