令和６年６月20日、東京都杉並区内の（仮称）上荻１丁目鉄骨造解体工事において、３階屋根で波板の溶断作業を行っていたところ、天井の一部であったコンクリート塊が不意に落下し、１階で作業を行っていた労働者に激突するという災害が発生した。 これにより、ウチダ建設工業株式会社及び同社代表取締役は、労働安全衛生法第21条第２項及び第61条第２項違反により東京簡易裁判所から各々罰金200,000円の判決を受け、令和７年11月18日に当該判決が確定した。 このことは、建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当する。
