有限会社アイテックは、令和７年２月１７日、双葉郡浪江町地内に所在する（仮称）かふぇことのは新築工事において、同社の関係請負人である２次下請工事業者の労働者に高さ2.21ｍのくさび緊結式足場を使用させる際、手すり及び中さん等の墜落防止設備を設けなかったため、同労働者が同足場の作業床上から墜落し死亡した。このことにより、令和８年４月２日付けで、労働安全衛生法違反で同社が３０万円、労働安全衛生法違反及び業務上過失致死罪で同社代表取締役に５０万円の罰金刑が確定した。このことは、建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当する。
