長田建設株式会社が請け負った建築現場において、令和3年（2021年）2月11日、ブロックを並べる作業中にブロックが倒れ、労働者に当たり死亡する事故が発生した。 この件に関し、労働者に対し、従事する業務に関する安全のための必要な事項について教育を行わなかったとして、同社及び同社従業員に対し、熊本簡易裁判所から労働安全衛生法違反によりそれぞれ罰金20万円の略式命令があり、令和4年（2022年）4月7日、その刑が確定した。 このことが、建設業法第28条第1項第3号に該当すると認められる。
