令和５年９月１４日、千葉県銚子市内の工事現場で発生した労働災害により、労働者が４日以上休業することとなったため、本来は所轄の銚子労働基準監督署長に事故報告を行わなければならないところ、東金市内に所在する資材置き場で発生した労働災害と偽り、東金労働基準監督署長に事故報告を行ったことから、労働安全衛生法に基づき２０万円の罰金刑に処せられた。 このことは建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当する。
