Macro Kitchen Kigfujii Co., Ltd., located in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, failed to appoint a replacement technical officer for its construction, carpentry, roofing, tile, brick, block, and interior finishing business offices after the previous officer resigned on November 30, 2016. Despite this, the company did not submit the required notification under Article 11, Paragraph 5 of the Construction Business Act. The company continued to operate without meeting the licensing requirements until it submitted the business closure and technical officer removal notification on September 15, 2021. This conduct violates Article 7, Item 2, and Article 11, Paragraph 5 of the Construction Business Act. The prefecture issued an instruction order on January 21, 2022, requiring the company to promptly inform its staff of the violation, ensure compliance with the law, review the role of the appointed technical officer, and report the measures taken in writing.
