Antimonopoly violation（株）イトーキ外５社は、公正取引委員会による防衛省航空自衛隊が発注する什器類の製造業者らに対する独占禁止法の規定に基づく審査の結果、同法第３条（不当な取引制限の禁止）の規定に違反する行為を行っていたとして、平成２２年３月３０日、同法第７条第２項の規定に基づく排除措置命令及び同法第７条の２第１項の規定に基づく課徴金納付命令を受けた（コクヨファニチャー（株）については違反事実の公表のみ。）。 このことが、文部科学省における「建設工事の請負契約に係る指名停止等の措置要領」別表第２第５号（独占禁止法違反行為）に該当するため。 なお、コクヨファニチャー（株）については公正取引委員会より課徴金減免制度対象者であることが公表されているため、指名停止の措置要領第５第３項に該当する。 また、今回指名停止を措置する５社以外のプラス（株）に関しては、文部科学省に有資格登録がなされていない。
