Bribery警視庁捜査２課は、東起業(株)の社長及び元千葉支店長が、千葉市発注の工事の入札に際し、同社に有利となるような取り計らいをした見返りに現金約１００万円を渡したとして、千葉市長の鶴岡啓一容疑者を収賄の疑いで逮捕した。 なお、贈賄については、公訴時効（３年）が成立している。
