The representative director and directors of Kawatani Seikon Assisting Limited Liability Company, in a subcontracted construction project in Kairai, Higashikagawa City, failed to submit a report on a worker who was injured and took more than four days off work after contact with a concrete mixer truck during work. They conspired with the supervising technical engineer of the project and did not submit the required worker injury report to the jurisdictional Higashikagawa Labor Standards Inspection Office without delay, thereby neglecting the legally mandated reporting. As a result, they were each sentenced to a fine of 150,000 yen by the Takamatsu Summary Court, with the judgment finalized on February 1, 2025. This conduct is recognized as falling under Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act.
