| Summary | On September 5 and 6, 2024, the Shikoku Transport Bureau conducted an audit of Seiun Kisen Co., Ltd. based on the Marine Transportation Act. It was confirmed that from April 3 to September 4, 2024, the passenger ship 'Yukikaze' operated by the company had crew members aboard who did not possess valid maritime licenses. On October 30, 2024, the bureau issued an order to the company, including a directive that the voyage manager must continuously verify that all crew members, including non-licensed personnel and reserves, have the necessary qualifications and valid licenses when approving the crew deployment plan, in accordance with Article 20 of the Safety Management Regulations. |
