Yoshimura Construction Co., Ltd. was ordered to pay a fine of 200,000 yen each for violations of the Industrial Safety and Health Act. On April 20, 2020, at a construction site ordered by the Southern Regional Headquarters for the project 'Ryōde District Management and Business Development Infrastructure Improvement Project (Long-term Maintenance) No. 16,' the company used a mobile crane to lift and move a lightweight steel sheet pile using a lifting clamp. Yoshimura Construction Co., Ltd. submitted false private construction information in the documents attached to the business evaluation application on the specified review dates in 2016, 2018, and 2020, and submitted the resulting business evaluation notification to public project contracting authorities such as Kumamoto Prefecture to apply for bid participation qualification.
