Ryukyu Daihatsu Sales Co., Ltd., a car repair business located in Urasoe City, Okinawa Prefecture, had its issuance of safety compliance certificates suspended by the Okinawa General Bureau from April 6 to April 25, 2022, for a period of 20 days. The suspension was due to the company conducting vehicle inspections without completing all required procedures, outside of intentional misconduct, and issuing certificates of compliance in violation of Article 94-5, Paragraph 1 of the Road Transport Vehicle Law. The enforcement action was taken by the Vehicle Safety Division of the Okinawa Transport Department.
