At a demolition site contracted to Hayami Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., the company's employee served as the site supervisor, overseeing work and safety management. During dismantling, workers were instructed to remove bolts from steel frames on the second floor of a building under demolition. There was a risk of falling from the edge of a work platform over 2 meters high, and it was significantly difficult to install guardrails or similar barriers at the platform edge. The company and the supervisor failed to implement necessary safety measures, such as requiring workers to use fall arrest devices, to prevent fall hazards. As a result, they each received a summary order of a 200,000 yen fine from the Owa Summary Court for violations of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, with the penalties finalized on September 27, 2025. This conduct is deemed to fall under Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act.
