Safety violation or accident荒井・中山経常建設共同企業体が施工した北海道上川総合振興局旭川建設管理部発注工事において，株式会社アラタ工業の常務取締役及び荒井建設株式会社の現場代理人は，共謀の上，平成２３年１２月１０日，上川郡美瑛町の工事現場で株式会社アラタ工業の労働者が伐木作業中に労働災害により負傷し，４日以上休業したにもかかわらず，遅滞なく労働者死傷病報告書を所轄の旭川労働基準監督署長に提出しなかった。 このことが，労働安全衛生法に違反するとして，株式会社アラタ工業及び同社常務取締役並びに荒井建設株式会社の現場代理人が公訴を提起され，罰金刑の略式命令を受けた。
