Kabu-shiki-gaisha Shinjuuken, headquartered at Seek Heights, 1-44 Shōzō, Ōita City, engaged in construction work, and a subcontractor performing scaffold dismantling work at the Oita Petrochemical Complex in Ōita City, Nakanosu, was involved in submitting a false Worker Injury and Illness Report (Form 23). The company's representative director, who handles labor accident procedures, falsely reported the location of the incident as 843 Shinoden, Naka, Ōita City, and that the injury occurred while loading scaffold materials onto a truck at the company's material storage site. The report was submitted to the Oita Labor Standards Inspection Office located at 2-1-36 Shinkawa, Ōita City, on July 28, 2020. As a result, the company and its representative director received a summary order of a 100,000 yen fine from the Oita Summary Court for violating the Industrial Safety and Health Act. This constitutes a violation of Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act.
