Murata-gumi Ltd. failed to submit documents required under Article 11, Paragraph 2 of the Building Business Act within four months after each fiscal year for the past five fiscal years, despite being instructed by Okayama Prefecture. The company submitted the documents again well beyond the deadline, showing no improvement. This constitutes a violation of Article 11, Paragraph 2 of the Building Business Act, and an instruction order is issued pursuant to Article 28, Paragraph 1 of the same Act.

Murata-gumi Co., Ltd. was involved in a violation of the Industrial Safety and Health Act after submitting a false worker’s injury report to the Itami Labor Standards Inspection Office. The report falsely stated that an injury occurred at the company’s material storage site in Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture, on January 23, 2020, when in fact the injury occurred at a construction site in Osaka City on January 7, 2020, where a worker sustained a left thumb amputation after being caught in a backhoe door and was absent for more than four days. The company was fined by the Itami Summary Court on May 26, 2021, for this violation, which is recognized as falling under Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act.
