On December 5, 2023, the Chubu Transportation Bureau issued a 15-day business suspension to Crystal Corporation, located in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, from December 6 to December 20, 2023. The suspension was based on violations of the Road Transport Vehicle Law, specifically: falsification of specific maintenance records; failure to record or incomplete recording of maintenance records; failure to provide copies of maintenance records to users; not retaining maintenance records for two years; failure to provide estimated cost sheets; inadequate overall management of the maintenance supervisor regarding specific maintenance; and failure of the maintenance supervisor to undergo required training. The violations were identified by the Automobile Safety and Maintenance Department of the Chubu Transportation Bureau. The legal basis includes Articles 91, 91-37, 91-38, and 91-3 of the Road Transport Vehicle Law.

Crystal Corporation's vehicle inspection certification license was canceled by the Chubu Transportation Bureau on December 6, 2023. The violations include failure to establish a compliance system, falsification of inspection and issuance dates on certification documents, issuance of certification under non-compliant conditions not due to intentional misconduct, incomplete or missing maintenance and inspection records, failure to retain maintenance records for two years, issuance of certification during periods when compulsory insurance was not in effect, failure to present proof of compulsory insurance, failure to preserve calibration records of inspection equipment, and failure to complete required inspector training. These violations are based on Articles 94-3, 94-5, 94-6, 94-8, and 94-10 of the Road Transport Vehicle Law.

On December 5, 2023, the Chubu Transportation Bureau issued a dismissal order to a vehicle inspector at Crystal Corporation (法人番号8180001096013), located in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture. The inspector was found to have certified vehicle compliance certificates without conducting inspections and while the vehicle was in a non-compliant condition with safety standards, violating Article 94-5, Paragraph 4, Items 2 and 4 of the Road Transport Vehicle Law.
