Fuji-en Co., Ltd., as the primary subcontractor, was responsible for tree pruning work at Jimmoku-ji Elementary School in Jimmoku-ji, Ama City. On March 22, 2021, at the schoolyard, the site supervisor failed to implement necessary safety measures, such as installing safety nets and requiring workers to use fall prevention equipment, despite the work being conducted more than 2 meters above ground and the difficulty of setting up work platforms. This omission posed a risk of fall injury to workers. The violation of the Industrial Safety and Health Act resulted in a summary order of a 200,000 yen fine for the corporation and the site supervisor by Tsushima Summary Court. This constitutes a violation of Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act.
