スニックは、資本金の額が１０００万円以下の法人たる事業者に対し、自社が製造を請け負う自動車用部品等の製造を委託している。遅くとも令和６年３月以降、下請事業者に製造を委託した本件製品について、量産が終了し、発注数量が大幅に減少していたにもかかわらず、単価の見直し協議を行わず、一方的に量産時の発注数量を前提とした単価で下請代金を定めた。金型等を用いて製造する本件製品の発注を長期間行わないにもかかわらず、金型等を無償で保管させていた。
