令和7年1月27日、有限会社安栄観光が運航する旅客船「ぱいじま」は、旅客132名を乗せて大原港に向けて航行中、左舷機関が停止し、岩礁へ乗り揚げた。旅客の負傷者なし。 同年1月30日、沖縄総合事務局の運航労務監理官が海上運送法に基づく監査を実施したところ、運航基準の未順守等、安全管理規程に違反する事実を確認した。 同年3月10日、沖縄総合事務局は同者に対し、「運航管理者及び船長は、安全管理規程第29条及び運航基準第4条の2に基づき、運航基準にかかる情報、運航の可否判断、運航中止の措置及び協議の結果等について航海日誌に記録すること。」を含む警告を行った。
