令和５年７月３日、鳴門市瀬戸町の橋梁塗装工事現場において、（株）鳶将組の代表取締役が、労働者につり足場の組立ての作業を行わせるに当たり、「足場の組立て等作業主任者」の職務である「要求性能墜落制止用器具」の使用状況の監視を行わなかったため、労働者が墜落し、死亡した。 その結果、令和６年１月１２日、鳴門簡易裁判所により、（株）鳶将組及び代表取締役に対して、労働安全衛生法違反による３０万円の罰金刑が確定した。 このことは、建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当する。
