株式会社浦和工業は、令和６年７月４日、沖縄県沖縄市の民間改修工事現場において、高さ５メートル以上の構造の足場組立て作業を行うにあたり、労働者の作業の進行状況を監視せず、もって足場の組立等作業主任者の職務を行わせなかった。 また、高圧線に防護管を設置するなど感電による死傷事故の発生を防止すべき注意義務を怠り、必要な措置を講じず、同作業の進行状況を監視しなかった過失により、令和７年３月７日沖縄簡易裁判所から、労働安全衛生法違反及び業務上過失致死罪により罰金20万円（法人）、及び罰金50万円（個人）の略式命令を受け、その刑が確定した。このことは、建設業法第28条第１項第３号に該当すると認められる。
