株式会社笹尾組の代表取締役は、同社の業務に関し、令和3年6月1日、高松市牟礼町大町689番地3の同社の車両置き場において、労働者Ａにドラグショベル（重量約1440キログラム）を貨物自動車から卸す作業を行わせるに当たり、一の荷でその重量が100キログラム以上のものを貨物自動車から卸す作業を行うときは、当該作業を指揮する者を定め、その者に作業手順及び作業手順ごとの作業の方法を決定し、作業を直接指揮すること等を行わせなければならないのに、これを定めることなく作業を行わせ、もって荷役の業務における作業方法から生ずる危険を防止するため必要な措置を講じなかった。 このことから、同社及び同社の代表取締役は、労働安全衛生法違反により、令和3年9月2日に高松簡易裁判所から罰金20万円の略式命令を受け、同年9月18日にその刑が確定している。
