On March 29, 2023, at approximately 2:50 PM, a construction worker at旭ビルド sustained a cut injury to the left wrist while unloading a load from a cart at a new construction site in Audo-cho, Ikoma-gun, Nara Prefecture. The worker took a leave of absence the following day and returned two days later. The company, in collusion with a senior contractor employee B and former director C, concealed the accident and did not submit a worker injury report to the Nara Labor Standards Inspection Office. As a result,旭ビルド was penalized under the Industrial Safety and Health Act (Law No. 57 of 1972) with a fine of 100,000 yen, which was finalized on November 22, 2023.
