(Yūki) Akagi Glass Store, on September 23, 2020, during scaffold installation at a private warehouse in Toyotama-cho, Tsushima City, was engaged in transporting slate roofing materials used for warehouse repair. Worker A, involved in this task, sustained a distal fibula fracture requiring more than one month of hospitalization and treatment, resulting in over four days of absence. The company failed to submit a worker injury and illness report to the Tsushima Labor Standards Inspection Office without delay, until July 20, 2021. Consequently, the Iki Summary Court issued a summary order imposing a fine of 200,000 yen on both the company and its representative for violations of the Act on Securing, etc. of Safe and Hygienic Working Conditions for Part-Time Workers, which was finalized on January 5, 2022. This violation falls under Article 28, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Construction Business Act and is subject to supervisory disposition.
