誠建設株式会社が施工した福井市内の民間建物解体工事において、同社の労働者が右足を受傷する労働災害が発生した。同負傷は医師により４日以上の休業を要するものであると判断されたものであるが、同社は当該被災労働者が業務中に負傷したことや同負傷によって４日以上の休業を要することを認識していたにもかかわらず、同現場を所管する福井労働基準監督署に対し本件労働災害に関する労働者死傷病報告書を提出しなかった。このことについて、同社および同社の元代表取締役が、福井簡易裁判所から労働安全衛生法違反により、それぞれ罰金刑を受け、令和４年６月３０日にその刑が確定した。
