当該建設業者の取締役が、当該建設業者の業務に関し、法定の除外事由がないのに、令和５年９月６日に当該建設業者資材置場において、廃棄物である木製パレット約30枚及び土嚢袋約100個（重量合計約508.4キログラム）を焼却した。 このことで、廃棄物の処理及び清掃に関する法律（昭和45年法律第137号）違反により、同人は罰金50万円の刑に処せられ、令和６年２月14日にその刑が確定し、当該建設業者は罰金70万円の刑に処せられ、同日にその刑が確定した。
