有限会社中本産業は、令和２年度に受注した倉吉河川国道事務所発注の「倉吉管内植樹管理作業」において、令和２年９月２８日に、植樹帯のカイヅカイブキに絡まったカズラの除去作業を六尺脚立（高さ約１．８ｍ）に乗り行っていた作業員がバランスを崩し、脚立高さ１．５ｍの所から飛び降りた際、右足を負傷した工事関係者事故が発生したにもかかわらず、土木工事共通仕様書に定める発注者への報告を行わなかった。なお、本件工事関係者事故については、労働者死傷病報告を倉吉労働基準監督署長に提出せず、法令の定める報告をしなかったとして労働安全衛生法違反により、令和６年７月１１日、罰金刑の略式命令がなされ、同月２７日にその刑が確定した。
