令和６年６月１７日、徳島市上八万町の道路修繕工事において、株式会社森本組の取締役が、法定の除外事由がないのに、労働者にドラグ・ショベルを用いて敷き鉄板をつり上げる作業をさせ、その主たる用途以外の用途に使用し、機械による危険を防止するため必要な措置を講じなかった。その結果、別の労働者がドラグ・ショベルと普通貨物自動車の間に挟まれ、傷害を負った。これにより、会社が労働安全衛生法違反、取締役が労働安全衛生法違反及び業務上過失傷害により罰金刑の略式命令を受け、令和７年３月６日、その刑が確定した。
