株式会社阿久澤建設は、令和５年５月２６日に、同社敷地内において、ガードレール基礎の型枠固定作業を行っていたところ、同作業場所が地上から５メートル以上の場所で墜落のおそれがあるにもかかわらず、手すり等を設けることなく従業員に作業を行わせたところ、墜落して死亡した工事事故を発生させた。 このことにより、同社及び同社代表取締役は、労働安全衛生法第２１条第２項（労働安全衛生規則第５１９条第１号）違反（危険防止措置義務違反）により令和５年８月２１日に書類送検され、令和６年１月２５日に前橋簡易裁判所からそれぞれ２０万円の罰金刑に処された。
