当該建設業者の取締役は、同社の業務に関し、令和２年11月10日、大阪市淀川区西三国４丁目１番12号淀川労働基準監督署において、同署長に対し、真実は、同社に派遣された労働者が、同年９月21日、茨木市内の新築工事現場において、鉄骨の運搬作業中、同鉄骨が同人の右足上に落下したことにより、右足舟状骨脱臼等の傷害を負い、４日以上休業したのに、同人が、同日、大阪府吹田市内の同社倉庫において、治具を移動させるために持ち上げた際にこれを右足上に落下させて右足甲を骨折した旨の虚偽の事実を記載した労働者死傷病報告書を提出し、もって労働基準監督署長に虚偽の報告をした。 このことで当該建設業者の取締役は、労働安全衛生法（昭和47年法律第57号）違反により、罰金20万円の刑に処せられ、令和４年３月18日にその刑が確定した。
