株式会社法面家竹川の役員は、同社の業務に関し、令和５年12月17日、賀茂郡西伊豆町内の法面修繕補強工事現場において、労働者に法面に金網を貼り付けるためのロープ高所作業を行わせるに当たり、墜落による危険を防止するため、要求性能墜落制止用器具を取り付けるためのロープであるライフラインを設けることにより墜落防止措置を講じなければならないのに、このような墜落防止措置を講じないまま、労働者にロープ高所作業を行わせた。 この件について、下田簡易裁判所は令和６年７月10日に同社及び同社の役員に対し、労働安全衛生法違反に基づきそれぞれ罰金30万円の略式命令を行い、これが確定した。 このことは、建設業法第28条第１項第３号に該当するものと認められる。
