株式会社高士組が請け負った新築工事現場において、令和７年（２０２５年）１月２８日、労働者が足を踏み外し、地上約２９メートルの高さから転落する労働災害が発生した。 この件に関し、同社及び同社員（職長）は、労働者に作業場内を通行させるに当たり、労働者が使用するための安全な通路を設けず、労働者の生命の保持のため必要な措置を講じなかったことで、熊本簡易裁判所から労働安全衛生法違反によりそれぞれ罰金２０万円の略式命令を受け、株式会社高士組が令和７年（２０２５年）７月８日、同社員が令和７年（２０２５年）７月１６日に、その刑が確定した。 このことが、建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当すると認められる。
