株式会社岡田工務店は、令和元年１１月１３日、高崎市井出町の浜川運動公園内工事現場において、工事作業員が顔面骨折する労働災害を発生させたが、事故の場所及び状況等を同社の敷地内で発生したものとして高崎労働基準監督署に虚偽の報告を行った。 これにより、令和３年５月７日、高崎簡易裁判所から労働安全衛生法違反（同法第１２２条、第１２０条第５号、第１００条第１項、労働安全衛生規則第９７条第１項）のため、株式会社岡田工務店代表取締役に対して罰金２０万円の略式命令が出され、その刑が確定した。 このことが建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当する。
