令和6年12月16日、北海道網走郡大空町の林業現場において、伐木の作業を行っていた際、伐倒しようとする立木の高さの2倍に相当する距離を半径とする円形の内側に他の労働者を立ち入らせたもの。その結果、伐倒木が当該労働者に激突して死亡したことから、労働安全衛生法第21条第１号、働安全衛生規則第481条第2項違反で法人及び代表者に対し、それぞれ罰金20万円（令和7年5月30日）の判決を受け、刑が確定した。このことは、建設業法第28条第1項第3号に該当する。
