幌加内土建株式会社及び同社役員は、令和６年（2024 年）１月１９日、公共施設において、労働者に高さ２．７５メートルの建築物の屋根で雪下ろし作業を行わせるにあたり、要求性能墜落制止用器具を使用させる等の墜落防止の措置を講じなかったため、労働者３名が屋根から墜落し、うち２名が負傷する労働災害を発生させた。 このことにより、労働安全衛生法第２１条第２項違反として、令和６年８月１日、深川簡易裁判所においてそれぞれ罰金２０万円の略式命令を受け、刑が確定した。 このことは、建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当するものである。
