有限会社下木原建設の元代表取締役は，その業務に関し，法定の除外事由がないのに，令和3年9月7日，鹿児島県枕崎市大字枕崎9260番所在の土地において，同社の事業活動（解体工事）に伴って発生した木くず（焼却残渣物約1.6トン）を焼却したとして，令和3年12月23日，加世田簡易裁判所から廃棄物の処理及び清掃に関する法律違反により罰金刑の略式命令を受け，令和4年1月8日にその刑が確定した。
